Hello ladies and gents. Made a few mods to the Taco yesterday. Trust me I'm not an over-doer and like things keeping that OEM look as much as possible. I won't be one to full the truck up with chrome, too much chrome. I've seen guys though never with a toyota, but have seen guys put every damn piece they can in chrome lol. I knew the truck needed some shine to it, something to brighten it up. I decided to go with the door handles and put a team logo (chrome look) on the rear window. Kind of wanted the truck all around to be well balanced with it's colors. I also put a license plate on the front replacing the company's I bought the truck from. Theirs was black so it did match the truck.

I thought maybe the door handles would be too much since the wheels aren't chrome but they don't look bad. I instead to try and blend it a little more, would like to possibly get the center caps, and not the whole cap, but the portion around the toyota symbol. Even if just the toyota symbol itself I think that would offer a little more balance to the side of the truck. Anyone know where I can possibly get this done at or of anyone that has done something similiar? I'm guessing any chrome dipping place. tacoma center cap.jpg tacoma center cap.jpg Tacoma after chrome door handles.jpg 4.jpg Tacoma after chrome door handles.jpg 4.jpg

There are companies that chrome plate plastic, but the prices I was given when I was building my Cooper S made me say nope.

Remember you can over do chrome to the point where it might only look good in south Texas

To give you an ide aof how insane the pricing is to chrome plastic. The two upright dash bars on a MINI Cooper console I was given a price of $400. That was not them doing any R&R, just me shipping them two pieces of plastic.

    Lmao
That's crazy. I actually looked closer and the chrome lug nuts offer sort of a decent compliment. I'll probably stop there

Check these out, and they fit 2001-2004 Tacoma rims. I just ordered a set of chrome center caps from this place today to install on my rims I'm having powder coated semi gloss black, and they have a smooth center without the Toyota emblems which looks really good.

I sent the seller two different questions today about the center caps, and I got a very quick answers from him. This seller was the only one I found selling chrome center caps for the stock 6 spoke "Y" style rims on my 2017 SR5 out of all of the many searches I did.

Send the seller a question, as originally they had the same center caps listed with the Toyota emblems, and I said I'd prefer the center caps with out the Toyota emblem, and he said that they also had them w/o the emblem which he quickly posted them up on eBay.

The sellers name is Bill and he was very nice to deal with through eBay. The reason I found your post was doing searches on the forum for chrome center caps. :)
