This is an older picture but all the specs are below. Thinking about selling it privately as opposed to trading it in. Paint and interior are in excellent shape, 65k miles. Thanks for the feedback, I was thinking of listing it for 30k but that's just the first number that came to mind.

I'm not sure, but 30k might be a little high even though you have many upgrades. Your mileage is about the same as my 2011 which i think is still pretty low, so that will help you out. I'm thinking you could get 27,500 but it depends on how popular tacoma's are in your area too. In Oregon, I can turn in any direction and see a Tacoma most of the time, so the value tends to stay pretty high out here. Good luck!

The problem is: aftermarket parts only matter to the person you are selling the vehicle to .... if you were to take it to a dealer, they don't really care how much money you have spent in aftermarket parts

So the best bet is to sell it on your own to someone who is absolutely in love with it exactly as it is

Years ago, I built a Dodge Ram show truck, seriously sunk a lot of money into it inside and out, but trying to sell it later was kinda hard, but it was the only way I wanted to go, since the dealer offered blue book value only ...

I agree with Yoda. Definitely sell out out right yourself instead of taking it in the ass from the dealer. They don't deserve to take all the money out of your pocket just because it seems like a "faster" or "easier" process. I'm sure you won't have any trouble selling your truck for a fair price. Lots of people out there who would love to have a taco set up like yours. Just hold out till you find them.

I'd have to agree with Skrain... Your truck in my neck of the woods might sell for $23k (private party)
I know that whatever I add to my truck, I'm not likely to get the value out of when I sell it. What one person finds important and worthwhile, another doesn't. As Skrain stated, "It's all about whatever someone is willing to give you for it."....

Look up kbb, look up Nada, average the 2, there is your price.

Forget the upgrades they don't add value

    30k is an absolute joke

Whatever a stock truck is worth to 99% of buyers is top dollar.

The 1% will pay whatever they think is fair for your mods. Most people don't want a modded truck, and while those Kings might have cost you $1200, they'll cost someone else $200 to replace with OEM equivalent gas shocks.

30k is a big stretch, IMO. Judging by what 30k has bought in this forums for sale section.

You'll make more selling aftermarket parts for OEM counterparts + cash.

You would be better off putting stock parts on it and reselling. That said with how popular modded 4x4 trucks are I would think listing for 30 would be a bit low, at least in Oregon/Washington. If I were selling that truck here I would list for 32 and sell for 30. I bet it would sell within a month, or maybe less.

Just out curiosity I looked up KBB values and had to chuckle. 25k is definitely below market. I'm not sure what the market is like in Orlando but here in the NW a stock truck in that condition would sell for 28k or better. For that matter an 05 double cab 4x4 with 150k+ on it is still a fast selling 20k truck here.

I garuntee a buyer would find financing above KBB.

KBB has it valued at 25k stock. I won't be parting it out, mainly because I got rid of the OEM stuff when I moved up to NC. I'll keep an eye on local listings but in my area I'm sure I can get over 25k. I appreciate the input you gave.

Here in Louisiana Ive had my truck for sale for a while asking 23k....now i do have 122k on the ODO but it has been well cared for and is in great shape. I went to a dealer the other day and they offered me $14.5 for my truck as is.

I saw your thread, your truck has body damage and has also been in an accident. It's not an apples to apples comparison.

True but it also depends on the market where you live. A dealer in Oklahoma offered me $19.5k for the truck because there's more of a demand for these trucks up there.
