Is there anything I should be expecting to run into after I hit the 200,000 mark on my 05 TRD off road?

Seriously though...if you've kept up with regular maintenance, you don't really need to worry about anything specific.

There appears to be no frame rust what so ever, suspension feels good still, maybe I'll take it into a suspension shop and have them look over everything. I'll have to look up the motor mounts thing, I've never heard anything about it

@jamesrenoallen if it's still on the factory suspension you should sift through the BST marketplace on here and pick up a new suspension for at most a couple hundred bucks, I'm sure your rear leafs need some work and people get rid of their stock stuff for chump change.

I've heard people look into replacing the alternator at around 200k if it hasn't been done already.

Learn how to change a serpentine belt, then carry a new one and the tools needed to replace it. Otherwise it's a tow. It's not that difficult. If you're lucky, it will break from age only, not a seized pulley bearing on something. My OEM shredded at 250k.

When it breaks, you only have 5 minutes or so to shut down before it overheats. Don't let the temp. go over red line. It will continue to build even after you shut down. These aluminum motors can't take the heat.
