Please answer about your use, or non-use, of the Qi Wireless Charging system.

If you have stopped using it, I am very interested in your reasons

I use it all the time. I have a Samsung S6 Active and it used to not charge very well. A couple of weeks ago, AT&T pushed out a software update for it, and ever since then it has charged much quicker.

Nope because for some stupid reason the iPhone 6s+ doesn't have wireless charging. Maybe the iPhone 7 coming out in September will have it equipped

I have never used it, as my crap Moto phone doesn't have induction charging capabilities.

Don't use it. Running an iPhone, but still won't use it when Apple integrates it into their phones. I keep my phone on a magnet holder to the left of the stereo so I can see it when I'm driving.

Added a Qi panel on the back of my phone, but would not charge unless I had the phone in a specific spot on the pad and the truck wasn't moving. This wasn't a problem with the truck but the crappy MotoG and Qi Pad i had for it.

And the phone does not have a case, the Qi pad was on the outside of the phone and directly against the trucks Qi pad.

I have a Note 3 and bought the add on from Amazon. It was intermittently working, until I figured out I had to turn the phone 180 degees so the wireless add on was facing the orange light on the pad. Works awesome now.

I think it's a gimmick with low market share and even lower real-life benefits. Have never used it, and even if I had a phone that supported it, I like my phone mounted in view, not tucked away in that little cubby.

    I will comment now.

I have an S5 and I installed a qi pad in the back of the phone, under the cover. It was a pain in the ass to place it correctly on the pad to make it charge. It would also make the phone extremely hot and it was impossible to turn off the screen when it was down there after I got a text message. The TMobile S5 always turns on the screen when you get a text message and it cannot be stopped from doing that.

I said this was a fad soon after it was announced in 2015. Lot's of people on here said it wasn't a fad and that it was useful... let's see what these poll results show us in a few days

I have an S7 that I intend to put down there...no first hand experience though. There's a USB port alternatively, right?

Yep. I use the USB port to charge my iPhone. I don't want to invest in some specialize case just to have my phone charge

Works fine with my Samsung S4, I removed the phone from the case so the heat dissapates better as it charges, havent had any problems in 4 months of use.

Seems to charge faster than the wall charger at home and works well with Bluetooth for messaging.

Screen does not stay illuminated after receiving a text unless I press the phone button.

No calls dropped, works great for me.

I was using it with my s7 before I got a case. After I got a case, it will not charge anymore. It will still charge on the pad in the house just not the truck. When it was working, it got my phone EXTREMELY hot. To the point it would be super hot thru my jeans pocket when I unplugged it.

Yes you can use it to charge the phone or interface with Entune. I have a 32gb stick in the USB for my music library, use a 12v to usb adapter in the center console to charge my ipod for the gym and the Qi charges the phone.

    Everything works for me.
