It will be SUPER wide. Compared to what you have now, it'll poke out another 1".

That's what I was afraid of. They already stick out pretty far on the 3.5" 16's. Maybe I just the need the 17x8.5's and run spacers. I really hate spacers though.

Unless you ever do a run of 17x8's with 3.5.... :D

Can anyone post or link me to a set of 17" matte gunmetal scs f5's on a 2016/2017 quicksand tacoma? Debating between the matte black and gunmetal.

I've only managed to find a quicksand with 17" matte dark bronze, which looked pretty clean.

Does anyone have a a paint match for Matte Jet Black? I touched up one of my hubs with high-heat flat black Rustoleum. It doesn't look bad, but it's no where close to Matte Jet Black. I'm looking to touch up the other hubs and my rear brake drums soon. Thanks.

I think the Rustoleum Statin black is a better match.

Gloss black has been discontinued. We only carry matte black now.

Howdy guys, I really dig the scs F5's. They are going into my build list but I do have one question that I couldn't get a decent response for; I plan to also go with Total Chaos upper control arms, I want to also use the F5 wheels in a 16x8 with the 0mm offset and 4.5" backspacing. Will this wheel size clear the control arm ok?

I couldn't find a good answer on here and I contacted Tc directly and they just said that 4.5" backspacing is preffered.... I'm only worried because I read in this thread that the icon ucas won't work with the 16" wheel, only 17" and I thought possibly the total chaos uca might have the same situation.

What size tire do you plan to run? I'm on 285's with those wheels and they clear mine, any size bigger though and they might rub

You won't rub. You'll rub the frame and full lock and stuff (if you take the sway bar off) but other than that you'll be fine

Wow thanks man that's great information and really helps. Yall are too kind.

I'm somewhat prepared to do cutting and trimming, it pains me to have to take the knife to the truck but those 285s look too sweet with these wheels

They do but I I felt like they had the "tucked" look to them. They do stick out more than stock but not enough for my personal liking. thats just too much back spacing, but it's up to you

I see what you mean. Personally I'd like a bit more tire sticking out the side too but I fear that's when I would have to do some extensive cutting to get them to clear. It's hard to decide.
