    Did that with a rat-l-trap to a jet skier throwing a rooster tail in the no-wake zone. Hit him right in the back. Thankfully his neoprene was weaker than 8 pound test.

    Excellent spur of the moment over-night camping trip! Caught 4 rainbows, 1 salmon par, and lost 3 flies to the river gods. I can't complain.

    LOL !! Since this kayak fishing thing is new to us - we've been going to just about every boat launch up & down the river just to see what it's like and current/safety, etc. This paticular launch looked like a really nice area - but apparently, someone had an event with rented kayaks. Lots of 'newbies' jumping in and floating around. Bad day to go to that launch.
