I'm sorry bud went through the exact same instance except less speed of impact. No frame damage my bumper and driver side rear quarter panel were the only thing damaged. 2 weeks for repairs total cost came out too 2 grand covered by her insurance. Hope everything works out, I literally almost lost it when it happened to me had just made my first payment too. Good luck. image.jpg

@AZDuck97 can you post a picture of where you mounted the cameras. Do you have a thread on how you installed them? Sorry to bother. I wanna buy and install the exact same ones before an idiot hits me.

Sorry about your truck, it sucks when something like this happens because of an ignorant asshole driver like that guy .. i would have been screaming & cussing like you were but you held your composure better than i would have when the dumbass walked up to your truck .. im sure he knew you were pissed though. It was bad but the results could have been alot worse as fast as he was going

    Mmmmmm, yes.

And to the OP, sorry that happened and glad you are OK.

    Great use of the cams!

But one thing I couldn't help but notice......

Your truck was obviously wearing a red shirt

You know, maybe this could be a good time for some fiberglass bedsides? That sucks though that this happened. Actually just yesterday I had a guy flying behind me where if I had braked at all I would of been clipped just as you had. I need to figure out how you set up your dash cam for my ride.

There goes the "Inferno is so bright it is much easier to see, making it a safer vehicle" argument. Seriously though, how the hell do you not see a bright orange truck right in front of you!?

OP, Sorry about your truck man. Are you entitled to diminished value in your state?

What a tool..... Awesome job not going totally psycho on him. I have a sneaking suspicion that despite my best efforts to stay calm, that M'Fer would have been spitting Chiclets.

Awesome use of the cams bro. Best of luck with the repairs.

You must be kidding. Over an accident you would literally consider punching someone in face?

    Have to be kidding.

Glad you're ok! The 101 is bad for that kind of accident, the same thing happened to me about a year ago...slowed down for traffic ahead of me. I was doing about 20 as I was rolling to a stop and got rear ended by someone doing about 80. She rolled me 3/4 of the way around and spun me 180 degrees. That was the end of my 1st gen!

Any pics of the frame underneath the bed? These 3rd gens have known to be totalled from accidents like this, wondering if yours looks like a limp noodle now.

And another one.... What is it with people like you that you just have to chime in on someone else's conversation? Was i talking to you? I don't believe i was. If the OP has an issue with my reply to his post than he is more than welcome to say something about it or report it.

I don't even know why i am bothering to talk to you about this... Anyone who #'s stuff wouldn't understand keeping their nose where it belongs anyway. Have a great day sir.

It's a forum, if you don't want others to see what you write or comment on it, you can send private messages. Just saying.
