It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
    That sux. Glad you're OK.

I had a guy plow into my Inferno in a traffic circle. Told the cop "I didn't see him". I was amused when the cop looked at me, looked at my truck, looked back at him, then looked back at me and said "It is orange isn't it?"

    I miss that truck.

Comments like this really frosts me.

Needless careless accident that damages OP's $40K new truck, which he is probably indebted for $600/month for 5 years, hassle of the time of repair, and will probably be marked for the life of the truck on CarFax.

Anger seems justified. I'm amazed how the OP controlled himself shortly after.

all things considered, he did manage it well and got it all out prior to
dealing with the dingus who hit him.

Damage the frame instead of the plastic bumper?

Sad to say but this accident is pretty typical for dumb and aggressive drivers in Phoenix. Had to laugh when I saw the dork was driving a Vulva.

That dash cam is super clear, good thing you had them on there for evidence. What cam is it? Our cheap-o camera's tend to shut off mid-drive, what good would that do. lol. One time we needed it and it cut footage mid incident and missed the outcome. :annoyed:

Whether or not he a loan is irrelevant. Shit happens, that's what insurance is for. The guy behind him screwed up.

I've been hit before and I usually react the same way when I'm still in the car immediately following the accident...get all the anger and swearing out before I have to confront the person that hit me and be civil about it. I understand accidents happen, but knowing that most of them happen because someone isn't paying attention (i.e. texting/using their phone) is infuriating. Sure, we have insurance but it's still a completely avoidable massive headache for all involved.

same thing I've done here. get pissed in the vehicle before other's see it and then be normal after. hell even when I had an uninsured crackhead hit me last year, I still was civil. getting angry and upset in front of them won't fix your vehicle or the problem at hand.

Does that can record all the time or just when there's a car within proximity. I'd be afraid that if I had a can it would either record things it aught not or not record things it should. I'm just not as tech savvy as I once was. Missing windows 3.1...lol
