I have the wheel/hub caps that were originally on the truck. Anyone have an idea as to what colors these were? Any pictures? The base is black, the center looks orange (maybe faded red?), and the tooth & surround have nothing left to indicate what they might have been. Plated chrome perhaps?

Almost sounds like you're running some Keihin FCR flat sides.

Well its a sad day at the museum.... just found out ol' bessy needs a clutch (its slipping not broken) and is seeping from pretty much everything with a seal on it (not my truck to maintain so meh). :sadviolin: Born in 1989 and 27 years later still runs but her days are numbered. As a silver lining she might be for sale soon if anyone is interested. Just not looking to go that deep into a project truck right now or I'd buy her. Anyone know what a fair asking price would be to start at? Book says 3k and it is running but is going to need some love to be a daily driver again, does fine as a home depot errand truck which its been doing for like 15 years. Ive also never seen a V6 1989 4x4 go for nothing even beat to hell and this ones body is dent free no accidents no frame rust.

Love how huge the tires on this one is compared to the body. Bet you had a lot of fun with this one, haha. Nice

So my leaf springs are saggy. Any suggestions on which route to go?

Here's some option in order of cost.

I have an extra set of front leaf packs (used, off a 1980 pickup) that I could pull apart and add a leaf to the current packs. I'd have to get longer U-bolts, I'm sure.

Leave the used packs alone and buy an actual AAL
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000CPAFY...TF8&colid=2GWC55RDWARSV&coliid=I3010RL5MBILA0

    Buy completely new packs.

In any of these circumstances if I have to use longer U-bolts, should I might as well do a U-bolt flip?

If you do the flip kit only order one since you can only put it on the passenger side.
