Once I lowered it to the zero notch, I measured at 3". You were actually one of the guys that helped me out with my CV issue:

Yes I remember. I just didn't remember what your setup was. Are you happy with the ride overall?

Not happy with the BAMF grill?

I'm happy with it and looks way better than the stock chrome grill.

    :(

Installed a nail in a tire. Guy at Discount Tire says it's outside of the repairable region.

I am very happy with the ride. It is solid like a 4x4 should be but at the same time it does not ride like a shopping card (jeep). I still hear a rub every now and then. The rear does not feel like it bottoms out anymore. I appreciate the help you provided.

I like the looks of the grill, but it didn't fit correctly in the grill opening, I bought it used so it is possible the last owner warped it by tightening it too much or something but the fit just wasn't as good as I was expecting. On one corner the grill doesn't inlay in the grill opening at all, I had to beat it in to place and pull it in with the bolts, still doesn't look quite right but it is better.

A plug will still hold. that's just on the flexing point they don't want liability. I have plugged several tires in that area. Did you buy the damaged package which it will replace your tire for free.

Nope. I figured I'd be replacing the tires within a year... so it didn't make sense to buy the like $450 tire protection. Heck, that still gets me more than halfway to a set of four new tires.

I installed the Ridgid fog lights using the factory wires. I cut the factory fog light plug off and used the Ridgid that came with wiring harness. They turn on with the factory switch and no flicker. I've been running them for a week now.

Great thanks I'm going to try it that way first. Seems to be the easiest. I can always rewire it if I get the flicker. How do you like your lights so far. Pretty bright?

Originally not Expo AF! Kinda Expo AF now...lame.
You know what I did with my 3rd Gen today? I locked it up at 75MPH due to a wreck on the freeway in front of me. I have a TRD OR, with the Wrangler Adventure A/T Tires, and I hit it so hard I chirped them 2 times at 1 second each (ABS doing it's thing). That bastard stopped hard, I was mighty impressed. No bald spot on the tires either, these tires are proving to be a pretty decent OEM tire. No damage, but wife had a cow :)

Side note, got an average 23.9 MPG over 310 miles of driving. Not trying to hypermile, just driving it. Not bad for a 4x4!
