    I don't drink coffee but I would still take a preworkout. They have more benefits than just caffeine for energy...

    Creatine makes you hold water and it makes some people look really bloated, so you can try it if you want, but it may make you look fat.

    When I was able to workout in the mornings, I used coffee as my pre-workout. I love coffee, too. Like @ThunderCookies said though, pre-workouts have other things in them like beta alanine and nitrous oxide that have other workout benefits besides just the caffeine. I'd try coffee and if you like it, keep using it. I think you'll definitely like a pre-workout better though

    Some preworkouts barely have any caffeine. I used to actually take one that didn't have any...


    Or...maybe you need to intensify you workouts so you NEED the caffeine :stirthepot:

    This is one I was taking for a bit, mainly because I am el cheapo and it is literally the best bang for your buck (26 cent/serving and it has 90servings)

    They then put out a 'energized' version that has caffeine (and also flavor, the non-energized version is flavorless powder that taste a bit like chalk :notsure:) but it is only 50mg of it. Still a great deal too. (31 cent/serving and it has 90servings).

    I almost exclusively was using that one until I bought a container of Mr. Hyde off of @Kerleyfries for half price. It has some outrageous amount of caffeine but also only 30servings for it's normal price around $30. Which is more in line with most preworkouts at $1/serving and usually more...
