I'm ready to get some new wheels and tires, but I told myself I'd wait till my factory tires were worn and unusable. My truck is a '14. I have 45.5K miles on my stock rugged terrains and the damn things still look good and have a ton of life left on them. For those of you that have run these till they were no good, what kind of mileage are you all getting out of these damn things!! I guess all the rotations and alignments I've done are working against me, lol. I think once I hit 50K they are coming off regardless. I'm just bitching and moaning cause I want some new shoes on my taco. That is all.

I think that's what's bugging me the most about this. I've got a small lift on too and they just don't look right. I'm really wanting some 265/70's on there.

Buy your tires now while the sales are going on. Sell your old ones on CL to get a couple bucks back.

I'd say get rid of them based on my experience that they're terrible damn tires. I had them for about 3 years on my truck, probably about 30-40k miles and have about 5mm of thread left. They became skates in wet roads, loud as hell like mud tires, and just terrible ride quality. I got new tires last week and couldn't be happier.

My experience was nearly identical to yours, matadorCE. Only got a little over 39k out of them. Least I've ever got from a set of tires. I'm religious about pressure, rotating and balancing.

Well, I pulled the trigger today. Discount has up to $100 off a set of tires and $100 off a set of wheels. I ordered some 265/70/17 BFG AT KO2s and a set of black MT Classic IIIs. They beat the price on the wheels compared to 4WheelParts and I'm getting $200 bucks back. Now I just have to wait a few days for the wheels to come in. Hopefully I'll be able to get $150 to $200 off the old set when I post them up for sale locally.

They wear down significantly faster with a few burnouts!

I did not. I need my TPMS sensors moved over. I'm cool waiting a few days. I like to watch them as they do the work (yeah, I'm that guy at the tire store)!

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Sell them now when you can still get some cash for them to pay off the new tires.

I succumbed to the peer pressure (ok, not really) and got a new set ordered today. These will be off in a week with just under 46K on them.
