That's a hell of a price you got then.

Got this offer from a dealer:

2017 TRD OR DCLB in quicksand $35,315
    Premium and tech $2330
    towing $650
All weather floor mats and door sill protectors $209
    Exhaust Tip $90
    Vehicle/ID Theft registration $499
    Fees $590.41
    Tax $1,553.25

    For a total of $41,236.66

What do you folks think I could get this down to? They sure as heck better take off the theft registration to start with and then work down from there

The pricing is already in my budget since they're giving me $18,000 for my 2008 Tundra (double cab, 4x4, 112k miles, supercharged, king coilovers, demello bumper etc etc). I was expecting them to come in around $13k on my trade so they're in the ball park of where I want to be even with the higher sale price

No BRO-ness to speak of... Well, except Kbro2's
Friggin' taxes in your damn state?.... Your complaining about the taxes you pay? You pay ZERO state income tax in WA. I'd hardly complain about that since most states have a 5% sales tax plus a 1%-3% county sales tax and a State Income Tax of 1%-6% based on income amount (6% on anything over $7000). I'd say that 9.8% you are paying is a bargain (especially when you can sneak down to OR and pay no sales tax at all)! You'll have to excuse me for not extending any sympathy to your sales tax dilemma!

Just got word from the dealer that my truck arrived today. Going through my previous pricing estimates I remembered I've got a whole community of Tacoma owners that can review my thoughts!

    2017 TRD OR DCSB
    Manual Trans
    V6 Tow Package
    Quicksand

I asked for there to be no other additions to the vehicle that what's listed above. I'll probably be happy paying $300-$500 over invoice [somewhere around $32,500 total] unless you folks think I'm crazy or can do better than that! I've also got a vehicle to trade in with an estimated worth of ~$8,000. I'm open to suggestions and tips for negotiating a good deal here! This is my first time financing a new vehicle. In the past I have leased and then bought off lease. I'm done with that garbage method of wasting hard earned cash. Can't wait to drive the new truck, but I have the patience to walk away from the dealership if the $$$ doesn't line up right away!!!

What is the MSRP? The amount off MSRP, not including taxes and fees, is what is meaningful to us so we can compare deals. Thanks

Many folks are getting $2000+ off MSRP (not including taxes and fees), MetalliKatz3. You should be able to get that.

    Here's what I paid:
2017 Tacoma DCLB TRD Offroad 4X4 AT, Tech w/ JBL, Tow, carpet floor-mats, Inferno = $37,747 (excluding ~$2,900 sales tax, ~$600 registration, and $429 doc fee).
With my quick math; you can probably negotiate a bit more

I think you can do a bit better. Then again it may have to do with the market you are in. I got 3800.00 off MSRP. My configuration is as follows
2017 dbl cab 4x4 long bed OR
    Tow. 650.00
    5 inch step bars $ 500.00
    PT/JBL
    Mud guards
    All mats/door seals
    Chrome tip
    Dealer fee 900.00

    OTD including tax 40, 238.00

    Minus my trade in
They tried to stiff me on my trade
They finally gave me $7000.00 for my TRD 06 sport

    Does this price look good?
This price deal if we buy 3 tacomas and 2 4Runners. Dealer said this is invoice price.

Went and checked out a truck today exactly built like this and the dealer would not budge off the MSRP @ $34,665. I was hoping to pay what you did. Also offered a rediculous low ball for my trade in (2k under KBB Trade-In worth). I walked out... What dealership did you go through?

    2017 SR 4cyl auto 4x4 Access Cab
    + convenience package
+ those ubiquitous all weather mats and doorsill

My price was $700 under MSRP for everything (all fees etc), except for tax + reg
