Learned i can do an out of state title and tag in south dakota for my WR450

Now i just have to justify all that money over an FZ09 for something that doesn't even go as fast as my DRZ :cookiemonster:

Really sound advice there. Yeah honestly I've been talking to my friends and I think I'm gonna bite the bullet, save up $1000 and drop it on stabilizers for the Zx6r and for XC-W. I've never had an issue on the zx6r with a tank slapper but based off the riding position like you mentioned, I don't trust myself to get out of one if it started. On my enduro it just sucks not having a stabilizer on the loose rocky trails and sand.
I've been extra freaked out as of late after riding with my R6 buddy. Just coming out of a corner he hammer on the throttle and went to shift slightly leaned and his bars whipped back and forth so fast. He saved it but freaking sketchy. Then when I rode it the front end felt so much lighter than mine it was spooky. You could just barely nudge the steering and feel it want to wobble.
    I vote FZ09 over WR

I could have told you that. And uncork the wr and it'll be way faster than the drz, not mention weight savings.
You don't need a stabilizer. If you're getting tank slap often/almost ever then it's rider error. A stabilizer won't prevent it from happening either.

I've been riding years and never had an issue with it.

stabilizer will help by slowing the shake down

he also needs to check his head stem torque and make sure it has plenty of good grease.

Still don't get it unless you as the rider are doing something wrong. It doesn't just magically happen

I've never had an issue, just want to prevent it.
I need it more so on the dirtbike. Rough trails are killer without one. Fries my arms. All my riding buddies have them and sometimes we switch bikes I'm so jealous not fighting the rocks jutting my bars to the side. It's not about speed wobble on the highway.
    Whaaaaat?

It's OK to say skills aren't up to par every time. Fuck I'll be the first one to admit I've crashed riding over my head or doing stupid shit when I shouldn't be.
