Gah damn those mountains look amazing! Just how I remember. Not to mention I've had 2 beers and a slight buzz. Gotta love this altitude, probably moving back after I'm done with school

Vibration at 35-40 mph that goes away when in 4wd... confirmed by the local "Senior Master Technician" at the dealer...

They said that Toyota won't let them warranty it as the increased lift height causes the axle to droop a bit more, pulling it out of the diff, thereby side loading the bearing...

I'm almost to the point that I don't even want to see a Toyota service department...

    Here's a random BS question

Any one have an electric tool carrying case/box laying around? I like to keep all my drills, dremel, reciprocating saw, router, etc in cases but the heat gun I bought didn't come with one.

Keep searching craigslist and such but come up empty handed.

FWIW this is the heat gun I have, it's pretty much the size of your average drill

I could feel the diff bearing vibrate in my truck at less miles than you have and before my lift.
It was very subtle and I couldn't get anyone else to admit to feeling it but I did. When I lifted the truck, it just became more pronounced.
I never pursued warranty because all they could do is replace the incorrectly sized needle bearing with another incorrectly sized needle bearing.
In my opinion (and many others) the correct fix is the PTFE bushing. It's not prohibitively expensive or hard to do and it beats spending any time at the stealership.

I assume by "axle" you're talking about the drive shaft?
