I was rebuilding a 2014 Tacoma DoubleCab seriously domaged , The 2 side curtain are blowed , the estimated of repair recommends replacing two curtain airbag, the airbag sensor assembly module, the computer occupant detection, and not the sensor assembly side airbag sensor, Iwant to know if it is an error or if it is not necessary to replace them, they cost 200 each and do not want to change them if n is not necessary .

The bodywork is completely repaired and it remains for me that has rebtrancher new curtain.Thank

I think he's asking if it's necessary to replace the airbag and occupant sensors, and I would say yes.

Anything related to the safety system electronics should be thoroughly checked and replaced as needed.

Once the sensor and module have been triggered, they cannot be reused.
