    Bled hydraulics?

Both situations are opposite....a poorly working hydraulic system makes it hard to go into gear.
A bad clutch makes it not move when in gear.

I have seen other threads where people have suggested the shifter bushing. Have you looked at this? It sounds like an easy/cheap fix too FWIW.

Is the clutch reservoir full? Is the clutch slave moving?

Has anyone considered synchros? When my synchros went bad I had to rev match the transmission to go into gear.

"Its not the Tranny".......But I'm only saying that because you asked.

First off, Im sure what you mean at the end of your first post when you said "It goes into gear, but wont move now". What exactly wont move? The shifter, the car? I've replaced the clutch on my truck a few years back with minor assistance from a friend. It could be the shifter bushing. That would be pretty cheap and easy to replace. When I replaced mine (approx, 130K miles / 13 years ) the rubber bushing was literally falling apart....disenegrating. Perhaps a rubber piece got lodged somewhere it isnt supposed to? You can replace the rubber bushing with either an OEM toyota one, or a plastic bushing from MarlinCrawler. Just try and pull out the old bits of the rubber bushing/seat first as best you can.

While you have the center console off, take the shift lever(s) off and put them back in. It may free something up. The 4WD shift lever is a little difficult to put back, as I recall there is a spring that assists holding it in place. Obviously, if you dont have that, dont worry about it. just wanted to give you a heads up. Keep working at it and make sure it shifts easily while the vehicle is turned off. There should be very little resistance. In fact, you shouldnt even need to use the clutch while the vehicle is off? Have you tried shifting without the clutch while the vehicle is off? Is it any easier? If you havent done that yet, then do that first. Then we can try and diagnose the clutch parts.
