    Hi Guys,

I'm about to get speakers and amp for my stereo install from Mr Marv, and I need some help with a few parts:

    1. I have a 2010 with the JBL option. What wiring harness do I need to buy? I'll be putting in a Pioneer AVH-4200NEX headunit.

    2. RAAMAudio or Shok for the sound deadening? And how many sqft do I need for the back and doors only.

    3. Can anyone recommend a good antenna? My factory antenna was stolen a few years ago :/ So I bought a cheap stubby antenna, but its not that good. Should I just get another OEM antenna?

    4. Can someone go over this list of parts and let me know if its enough to install the headunit and amp. I wanted to piece everything together with high quality parts instead of getting a kit that will likely have cheap stuff.

    Dash kit:
Scosche Dash Kit for 2005-Uptoyota Tacoma Double Din Kit Color Matched Silver

    Power cables:
4 AWG Premium Extra Flexible Welding Cable 600 VOLT COMBO PACK - BLACK+RED - 15 FEET OF EACH COLOR - EWCS Branded - Made in the USA!

    Speaker cables:
    14AWG 2-Conductor Speaker Wire (100 Feet, White) by Mediabridge - 99.9% Oxygen Free Copper - UL Listed CL2 Rated for In-Wall Use (Part# SW-14X2-100-WH )

    Breaker (instead of a fuse):
Bussmann (CB185-100) 100 Amp Type III Circuit Breaker

    Power cable lugs:
Pico 4238C 4 AWG Battery Cable 5/16" Tubular Lug Ring / Eye Terminals 15 Per Package

RCA cables for front and rear channels:
Mediabridge Stereo Cable with Left and Right Audio (12 Feet) - RCA to RCA Gold-Plated Connectors - (Part# MPC-ALR-12B )

    RCA cables for subwoofer:
Mediabridge ULTRA Series Subwoofer Cable (15 Feet) - Dual Shielded with Gold Plated RCA to RCA Connectors - Black

    Speaker terminal lugs:
Yueton 100pcs Female Fully Insulated Wire Crimp Terminal Nylon Quick Connectors Wiring Spade

I have the remote lead from a cheap amp kit that I had lying around that I decided not to use.

    Did I forget about anything?

    Thanks!

Is there another power cable or speaker wire that you recommend? The problem with most car audio power cables and speaker wires is that they use copper clad aluminum wires. I want to use pure copper wires.

It looks like I will be installing this myself, depending on time.

I'll be removing the JBL amp and sub. Probably leave the wires in so that I can reinstall when I want to sell the truck

I'm assuming I'll just be using the harness with the white connector only and chucking the rest since I'll be using a new amp?

FWIW, Frost King themselves warn you not to use this stuff in vehicles - perhaps because of offgassing?

The TYTO-01 is used to retain the factory amp.

Do a search on this Forum for JBL System and see what other people have done. Do your research, last thing you want to do is get into it and not have what you need to get the job done.

I have a roll of 4ga OFC Power cable, I can sell you for $1.50 a foot.
