Hey guys, I lowered the price of the Transfercase to $400. I lost my job, tomorrow is my last day so I need to clean the garage.
If anyone needs the spindles I'll sell them for $140

It's a pretty simple install! It bolts right up, cut a hole in the floor board, adjust the e-brake cables a little out of the way, put a boot on it and you are done! you can look up info on RST trend... I was planning on a SAS which I have an axle to use or leaving the IFS and changing the extension tube from a manual FJ cruiser which is a all time all wheel drive (bolts right up) and then you get rid of the electric junk Toyota put in these Taco's that are known to fail... it's still something I'd like to do but need to prioritize my funds since I got laid off with one day notice

Man, I want a manual transfer case. Smoked my clutch the other day because I don't have 2wd low.

I don't think the manual transfer case lets you achieve 2lo. As far as I know the main benefit is that it's chain driven versus electric actuator.
With the latter there is a mod to get 2lo which I think some here refer to as yellow wire mod? Am I mixing things up?

Lol I'd bet, but in right time. All things happen. I love taking good deals as opportunities are given.

I think the manually shifted case does offer the potential for 2low by installing a twin stick kit. Yellow wire mod allows for the trac system to stay on in 4low, with the stock case.
