rough shipped pricing of my things to replace. if anyone knows of places with better prices, let me know! @05TacoRunner ? :D

    TC - $170 (Reman'd) - Parts Geek
    Toyota ATF ws x (5) 1QT- $50 - Ebay
Energy Radiator support bushings - $30 - Amazon
Energy Body mount bushings - $80 - Amazon
    IEDLS Carrier Bearing - $75 (on GB pricing) - $125 - Online
    CV's x (2) - $120-$160 - NAPA
    CV axle seals x (2) - $20 - NAPA

I can start knocking most of this stuff out now if I went this route with the Reman'd vs the IPT or OEM.

Thats way cheaper than what I paid for a tc.
Sorry still getting used to the phone, the magic number is 1.85 for stall speed.

    thank you!

now knowing that... what would you suggest? lol The price point is a huge selling factor for me, especially with all the other things on the list to get done.

and crap.. i dont know the conversion..

ratio of 1.85.. need to figure out what rpm that puts it at.

EDIT: or is that roughly 1850 RPM..

seems most ratios range from 1.8-2.5:1. so im just assuming.

Once you drop the pan and replace the TC you're gonna have to fill it also. And the pan.

All dealerships can add people to a preferred member's list for a discount. Always at their discretion though. Which is separate from a sponsorship.

I enjoy the benefits of a discount as well. Damn have I dropped a lot of coin at Toyota over the years!

hmmmm I think I can get in on that list at my local parts dept. Same guy has been working there for years, and has a Tacoma. so he knows all the part numbers already and remembers me. getting my oil filter and gasket is so easy. lol

so.. regarding the flush... I have read and heard mixed reviews and feelings on doing it. @Torspd thoughts? Was planning on just draining, overfilling, plug, then topping off.

$$$ and piece of mind. If it turns out not to be the culprit, I'll feel better than if I spent the 600+, and I know it would still be an upgrade.. Still just trying to fix things now. Allows me to spend more on other parts. New Carrier Bearing, new Body mount bushings, new cv's. Lots on the list.

That depends on how thorough flush you're doing, and if there are flakes in the fluid when you pull it.
