Camera Relocation Mount is a “universal mount” so can be mounted vertically or horizontally & is mounted off-center, just as it is in the OEM position (tailgate handle.)

**Can NOT be mounted with the gate hi-lift jack option! Our bedside hi-lift mount is a great alternative.

    DISCLAIMER:
Due to Toyota camera manufacturing variations, there appears to be at least two different cameras on the Tacoma's. Pelfreybilt includes both styles with your order, to allow you to choose the best fit for your camera. If for some reason neither configuration works-please let us know so we can assist with making one that fits your truck.
Thank you to @Adamar85 & @Tretiak30 for your help with the development of this gadget-couldn't have done it without you!! :)

NOTE: May require extending factory harness

Is this thread talking about a camera for the front bumper? Same concept as the rear camera?

No sir; the camera mount is for the rear bumper when someone orders it with our gate! :)

Ah I see. Is there a manufacture that makes a front bumper camera? I only ask because I plan to buy a front bumper and it would make sense to have a camera mounted in the front so when parking in tight spaces it would be less of a guessing game how close is too close.

Any camera will work front or rear. The bracket might need a bit of tweaking and unless you're willing to work at it to engineer a switch, you'll need some kind of monitor (aftermarket head unit with video input might work) as I'm not sure you can connect it to the mirror easily and w/o losing the reverse camera.

I went to the link above that took me to the Pelfreybilt site, but I couldn't find this camera mount among the menus.

Nothing too exciting... maybe a little rust
Anyone have a picture of what the view from the camera looks like after relocating it using the mount?

Nice, thanks. I was just curious if you can still see a trailer hitch to help in hooking up a trailer, looks like it might be just barely visible.

I'll be ordering this next week but i was curious if it was as simple as cutting the wires and adding length for the extension or have you guys created a plug n play extension for the relocation? any help would be greatly appreciated.
