    Hello TW,
    me and some homies are planning a trip to California and we will be staying in San Jose. We will also be staying in a condo in Reno, NV. I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations towards hiking spots, trails, sight seeing etc... We want to check out a little bit of the typical tourist spots in California, but I also want to see some locations where the locals hangout. We are going from July 26th- Aug 4th. Again, if anyone lives in these areas and would like to make some recommendations that would be sweet.

    In San Jose nearby is Big Basin Redwoods State Park. The hike to Berry Creek Falls is awesome and long.

    Yosemite is a 4 hour drive east.

    howd the trip end up? Theres plenty of places to go especially between san jose and reno. Most of the norcal guys are in the norcal subforum on here.
