Oregon and Washington Truck Spotting

I have a picture sitting on my phone of a mid-90's Ford dually with every little option you can get, including the old school windshield visor. What tops it off is the bedside sticker that reads, '2x6 ON-ROAD'. I've never seen a sticker that brags, "yeah man, I built my truck up so I can conquer a drive thru."

 

At least he's owning it and not trying to play it off on something it isn't haha

 

Sounds like the window sticker on a Prius that read "Nice Prius! -Nobody"

You are? What part? I live just south of actual fairwood... My neighbor calls our area "Kenton" because we sit right on the Renton/Kent line with unknown actual boundaries.

Spotted this fiberglass fender beauty coming down from capital hill around 130pm while driving in to work. Wide body taco.

I've posted this guys truck up before. Saw him at starbucks in Eburg. Someone else ended up spotting him again on the westside at startbucks as well lol

Did you do the whole WABDR? How was it? Keep hearing conflicting reports that some of it is only doable by motorcycle.

 

There are some tighter spots but you can definitely do it all in a truck

Last i heard The Jungle was the only motorcycle only area, i had brought a saw with me incase. But there is a bypass for it

 

Guy pulled up next to me in Shoreline while I was in my 5th Gen 4Runner asking me about my wheels. You had a 3rd Gen Black Taco. The BFD's will look great on that!

 

Just spotted a silver DCLB with a TW sticker and raptor lights on 405 going northbound by Everett.

 

I was sitting in my living room and saw a black DC pull in front of my house next to my truck. The guy got out for a second, his wife or GF was all smiley. He backed out and turned around and backed in next to mine (I back into my spot). They both got out and looked for a minute, I think they liked my stance. I should have taken a picture of it, but I was too busy being fascinated at the two of them. Made me feel good about my truck though. I need to get out and take some pics.

 

I'd be pissed, did you get the plate number? I'd expect them to return and try to steal stuff.

Nah, they definitely were not the type. I'm all about watching suspicious people in my neighborhood. Besides, there's Nothing to steal. I just put a clamp on my tailgate and a new lock on my box. The tailgate was the only thing I was concerned about. Probably going to get a gatekeeper or other keyed lock though. The clamp will only deter a tailgate theft.
