Seriously thinking about buying a second one just to get it faster! Then resell it for a $1 more lol

Okay, so a couple of "noob" questions I got!
    1. The stock fender flair will still fit back on once the job is done right?
    2. Do I need to worry about water / dust / snow being sent down the snorkel, especially driving 60mph on the freeway with rain?
    3. Anyone got pics of theirs already installed?

Yes,no,there are plenty of pics floating around

Edit. Very heavy wet snow may be a problem. A prefilter will supposedly solve that.
Also, the fender liner can be pulled without removing the fender flare. So I see no reason to pull the flare. I will try my install without doing it. I may take pics and stuff while doing it. I have the TRD CAI, and I know plenty of people who want to know how to install a snorkel with one.

A few pages back someone posted some pics. It prefilters the air coming into the snorkel to keep out excessive dirt or snow from the main filter

But isn't that gonna fuck up all the "cyclone/vortex/ram air" bs that they claim you get when you use the snorkel?

Throw it in your tool box (or somewhere else if you don't have a tool box in your bed) and only put it on in heavy snow or on super dusty trail runs.

That looks pretty fuckin sweet! In all seriousness... is there really a difference between the name brand ones and the ones I've seen on eBay for 1/2 the price? Normally I wouldn't even ask this question as it usually answers it's self but this is essentially a glorified vacuum canister, and even the Chinese can build the shit out of that, so the question remains... is there really a difference?
    Aaaaaaaand GO!:crapstorm:

Thanks! Stoked to be here, although buying truck parts after midnight is usually a bad idea. After 1:30am is usually regretful...but a snorkel has been on my list for the last 5 years. Some beers and an awesome group buy made it happen.

Example. Although I believe the generic ones fit both Safari and Airflow. Pretty sure both snorkel have a 3.5" inlet
