Looks awesome man! Thanks for the pics/instructions! Can you do a profile shot of the truck? I may end up tossing my modified factory rack.

Thanks! There's a bunch of profile pictures online, but what's one more? :D

These are definitely the best looking racks on the market IMO and are designed in a way that compliment the lines of our trucks.

Thanks for all your help. I'm giving up, no way around those airbags. Let me know if you know anyone who wants to buy an access cab rack with 2 Xterra crossbars.

Decided to give it one more try tomorrow. Going to get all the holes marked and drill the rear holes on each side with a 1/8" bit. See where they come through and go from there. If I don't try, I'll always wonder. I love the look of that rack. Wish me luck. I'll let you know how it comes out.

That's the spirit bud. They're great racks. Once you have it up there you won't be disappointed.
    Good luck!

We tried this morning. Airbags to tight up against the channel. Couldn't move them without modifying the brackets. Don't want to do that. Oh well. Thanks again for all your help. Dynamatted the roof, so all is not lost.

Not sure about the 16's. I just know I'm glad I dropped the headliner or I'd of had a mess. You looking to buy a rack? I have one for sale. :D

Will be doing an access cab install in a few weeks. Still need to pick up some dynamat or similar and electrical accessories before I give it a go though. Had a business trip outside Annapolis, MD and picked up a Scanstrut Deck Seal at a marine supply store for the light bar wire routing.

I'd like to see this install when you're done. A few people have drilled through the roof for lightbar wiring, but most just glob on the silicone. I'm always interested in more elegant approaches.

Sub'd, so much want.....anyone done one on a 15? worried about the airbags and such.......These look awesome. Will have a RTT on bed bars soon, and top of tent will be above cab top by a bit, so this would finish it all off really nice

This install was completed on a '15. The airbags were tight, but being extra careful when drilling the center mounts gave us no issues. @DaveEli just above had an issue with his airbags (2011), so not sure if there was a change from then to the '15 or if the minor manufacturing variances from vehicle to vehicle moved his airbags enough where he couldn't get around them. Only way to know is to compare side by side, but aint nobody got time fo dat. Best thing I can tell you is be careful when drilling any holes in your roof. Check your depth and as you are enlarging the hole, look inside with a flashlight (if you choose to not drop the headliner) to make sure you won't hit anything. Another member had accidentally drilled through the wiring harness for his dome lights along the front mounting holes on the driver's side. We did not have that issue, but it goes to show that every truck is just a bit different. Good luck.

You got it Jimbo. To be honest, this install isn't what I would call hard. It's just intimidating drilling into your truck. Once you get over that, everything else really just falls into place. @zscott makes an awesome product that is well thought out and fits like it was made for your truck because well, it was made for your truck.
