This morning i installed my new Access Literider tonneau cover, done the install by myself and it went super smooth. The installation was easier than i thought it would be, took me about an hour and 15 minutes and that was being picky and making sure i did everything right
Ordered from Truck Alterations via the TW special ( SHOPPING-DEALS & COUPONS- THE LIST ) pricing and paid $290 including free shipping. It looks like a great quality cover

Did it come with the foam squares that stick on the ends of the header rail?

Really a nice cover for anyone looking to stay under $300 .. i love the design of the brackets which attach directly to the bed rails ( you don't have to remove bed rails ) and can still use my rail cleats. Also the tensioners are a nice feature and they came already set from factory and were perfect.

Hey, new member here...just wanted to drop a line on this thread and say thank you to OhioTaco68! Been researching all day for what cover to get for my 16 Taco and the two biggest questions I had (regarding the bed rails and rail cleat usage), I couldn't find any direct information for...it was driving me crazy (Google is full of sh*t sometimes, I swear)!! Just bought a house so I am trying to find a cover for this price range too and I am now settled that this is probably the one I will end up with. It pains me to say this to a Buckeye fan, but THANK YOU!!! GO BADGERS!

It works great! There is actually a locking mechanism on both sides .. back left it latches shut and locks in place, there is a small looped nylon pull cord to unlock. On the back right is an additional sliding lock.
I am really happy with the tonneau cover, just got back from a 1800+ mile trip up through the UP of Michigan and the cover was great. No noise at all and a couple days we were in complete downpours and very very little water got in back of bed
I can't imagine a better roll up cover for the price i paid of less than $300 shipped

sweet, i have the access limited on my 02 and loved it. They even warranty replaced the cover after 9 years of use free of charge (it had shrunk with age and wouldnt close). Great company. The limited had a dual latch with a handle you would turn in the middle that would unlock both sides but the limited is super expensive. Can you shoot a pick of how it attaches to the bed rails? I have the factory rails as well and am curious. thanks again

Yes i will take a pic in the next couple days of how it attaches to bed rails .. its nice cause you do not have to take rails loose or anything, install is very easy and everything matched up perfect

I recently purchased one for my 02 Tacoma, and really like it. Easy to install as well. We just had some rain in California and it kept the bed dry.

Does anyone know the difference between the access literider and the access tonnosport? I'm thinking the tonnosport is more lowprifile and sits inside the bed rails as opposed to the literider?

Yes, you are correct. It's a lower profile that sits flush with the sides. I went with the taller one just so I have a little extra space.

I've been looking and it looks like the access tonnosport is very similar to the truxedo low pro? Am I right?

The Lo Pro QT you can remove the rolled up cover and header rail by sliding to latches over and lifting off. It also only has the trigger latch only on the left side where the Tonnosport has a slide latch and a trigger latch. The Lo Pro tension adjuster is easier to work than the Tonnosport which has it's tension adjuster under the rail.

Any opinions on which of the two is better for a budget minded cover?

I like the TruXedo Lo Pro. You can either call http://www.autoanything.com/tonneau-covers/60A1587A0A0.aspx or talk with them on the chat feature to get the cover cheaper. Or watch the site for the price to come down. I bought mine for $381.00 w/free shipping from them.
