    ...too much shit to list.
Go get a tape measure and find out. Nobody is going to have exactly the same lower and upper strap mounts. You can put them different locations.

8" is probably too much. I'm using 6" and wish I'd put the mounts higher.

I've got the 6 ply TG on the front and cartek on the back, no issues so far, and I've been using them.

No, 8" is way too big for a stock length set up.

@Arcticelf where did you buy the 6" tg strap? Just looked on their website and smallest I could find was 8"

Stop spreading bs if you don't know what you're talking about. I use 9" straps up front. All about where you mount the sumbich. Like Jason said just use a damn tape

Who pissed in your Cheerios there skippy ? We've had this discussion a million times before and a million times before guys have bought long straps and regretted it when they went to install them. There is absolutely no point in buying a strap that long and then having to get creative with the mounting location just to make it work. A shorter strap allows you to easily mount your clevis centered on the frame rail without having to cock the f-n strap at a 45 degree angle to eat up its length or having to put the clevis up the side of the coil bucket. A shorter strap is stronger, stretches less and is easier to install. Just because you made a strap work that was completely too long does not make you or it correct.

No luck finding a 6" tg strap. Shortest I found was 7" kartek strap. But I'll keep looking around.

I didn't have to make it work, it's what my tape measure told me to get. There you go again assuming the situation...

Cough...uniball UCA and LCA with more droop than Op has, cough...tab located pretty far out on LCA vs where it would be located on the oddly shaped OE LCA

BTW - I never disagreed with measuring to find exact needs.

Well by this time next week I'll have Dk lowers just like the picture. I forgot to mention that in the OP. With the stock lowers I need like a 6.5" strap from my measurements.

Your clevis mount is an inch or so higher on the frame than mine. Yours is probably in the better location.

The frame seemed more stout and flatter up there which is why I put it there. Added a scab plate for good measure for the clevis mount to stick to. Been working awesome for the last 10 months.
