Funny thing is right after I got the leaf springs from you and installed them I get a letter from Toyota saying there is a recall and they were going to replace them. Lol!

 

I might be resurrecting an older thread but I'm willing to take the risk and say hey. First Taco and I'm out here in Bay Village. If any of you Westlake, Avon, AL, westside thugs see a MGM DCLB, it might be me. Hoping to take it out to SOR this spring (Wells is a no way as this is my daily driver too). Shoulda kept the Jeep for Wells. If anyone is planning a run out there, lemme know, lov to join in with some fellow Taco'ers.

 

I plan on going sometime this summer! I've been to SOR in my friend's jeep a few times and have had to drive since he is not that great of a wheeler, but this time the Tacoma is gonna be there.

 

Awesome, drop me a note when you are going. The jeep is fantastic out there. The long bed...I'm a little leery but I guess we'll find out!

 

I try to hit SOR often, I know my way around there pretty good now.

I'll be there first weekend of February for sure and the ones after that depend on work.
I'm in Massillon.

I've never been to SOR, do they have all types of trails?

Also, any shops anyone can recommend that would do suspension work? I'm looking for a lift and would like to find a shop to talk about the set up before I purchase and have them install.

 

Inner city Cleveland here- this is my 3rd Tacoma and my biggest vehicle project in some time. I won't be doing anything too crazy except fixing some rust and updating the suspension. I recently salvaged some doors for it and I was wondering if anyone knows of a decent body shop that would spray them for me. I'm not looking for perfection but I don't want to roll around looking like I'm from Parma or something @iridebikes fancy seeing you here!

dude, two posts up is your answer. Roman (Tretiak30) is out in Broadview and about to open his own shop. In the meantime, he's done all the work on my two Tacomas and does and amazing job. Hit him up as he can source your parts, give you some great ideas, and do the install then take you wheeling! Here's mine after we got done with it...

Brecksville here. So where are the good places to go riding locally? I've never offroaded before but would like to give it a try this summer. Nothing too crazy, just want to get dirty and have some fun.
