Gotcha. I've thought about getting a unit that can run apple maps or something. Just use an old iPhone or something.

I was going to do that. The issue I had with the appradio (pioneer) is that if you wanted to listen to xm while using the navigation, it wasn't possible. You also had to always have the system connected with the interconnect cable, which doesn't happen that much either.

At this point I am on the fence is I want to install this deck back into my 2013.

    Pro,

    1) The pioneer is already set up to run XM.
    2) The buttons can be matched to the interior.
    3) Better sound quality.

    Cons,

    1) I will need a new harness as the 2007 is different from the 2013.
    2) The steering wheel controls should work, but until I try to hook everything up I wont know.
    3) I believe the sound is a lot better out of the pioneer. But I really wish it had a volume control knob instead of a push button.
    4) I never used the CD player since having Bluetooth. Maybe it's time to find a deck without one.
    5) You would think deck manufactures, would have better integrated with smart phones by now.
    6) Even though I can watch movies from the deck, I don't. I find it too distracting.

Yes, it's the OEM touchscreen base model.

Ah okay cool. I've been thinking of getting one of those with the nav on it and trying to retrofit it into my 07.

That for sure wasn't the Amazon prime when I bought mine. Amazon is putting on sale I guess. But yes I have a galaxy s6 and it does work with Bluetooth. Actually if you look up an unboxing video of it on YouTube you will see that the setup menus ask if you want it set up for Apple products or "Other" guess android wasn't cool enough to be named.
It will work fine with your Android. I have yet to get the wires for mirror link so I do not know if that will work

Thanks, Android is never cool enough! But good to know it is compatible. I'll check out one of the videos when I'm home later

Not bad. If you get Waze or something, will that work?

I'd like to try the method where you use an old phone and download the maps on wifi so that you don't use data. If that's possible, then I may look into something like this.

Navigo is a free map app that works with appradio. It downloads the map of north amercia and doesn't need data to work. Works well, but I find my iPhone running google maps is still way better.

I finished the install of my Pioneer AVH-X4800BS and everything worked. Thanks to 99TacoDriver for the info on CarAudioGiants. I signed up for their email and I received a $5.00 off coupon code. Attached are some pictures and price information. Amazon Prime Music works great with BlueTooth.
Note: The USB connector is not the best qualiity, I used Super Glue to hold the connector together, but it does work. Here is a YouTube link that I used as a guide. https://youtu.be/2WDQcwDixDs

Thanks I'm enjoying it so far. although I need to get the parking brake bypass cord. And then I still herd the whole app radio one feature sucks. We'll see though when I get the bypass setup. Sound is most definitely 10X better.
Also the feature where it tilts up is neat but also useless, because the Tacoma's already tilt the stereo up as much as you'll ever need.

Oh, well that's interesting, I guess maybe I paid for an option I didn't exactly need Lmao. You just sold it so wonderfully. Still happy with it though. I'd like to be able to mirror navigation, and YouTube videos if at all possible, that's what I'm hoping for. I'm not a huge electrical savy guy.
