Alabama Meet, Greet, & Eat @ The Slab in Montevallo - Oct. 29th

Alright, I'm good for this date.

 

I'm peeking in here to gauge interest in a potential October 22-23 Talladega 500 meet up. They're offering $25 tickets to college students with free on-site parking, camping, entry to the Saturday night infield party & concert, and a Sunday race ticket. Would be pretty great to roll in deep and set up a Taco homestead at the college tent-city.

 

Did we ever settle on Oct 29th?

NO!!! I want to go! I'm doing a Spartan Race in SC that weekend! Move it to the weekend before, that way the people who want to go to Dega can split in the middle of the meet and go to Dega..

 

I think they picked the date because it's better for the football fans. Who probably how number the NASCAR guys.

I don't really follow either so whatever works for me.

 

I don't care about either, I was just trying to make it to this meet.

 

I mean we can possibly change the dates. My work schedule will be freed up a little more in October anyways, I just picked a date I knew "most" would be good with and you're the first @SuthrnTaco07 to complain! jerk! nah we can discuss a change, I am gonna have to have one weekend occupied with a bachelor trip sort of weekend but we haven't planned that yet...

Put my name on the list! (Don't change the date, no Alabama game is perfect!) I have been soooo busy with work I need some Tacoma therapy!!

 

I have no list haha, but we have to keep in mind the point of this day is to DISCUSS MOAB and actually meet everybody that can/wants to go.

haha. i'm not saying don't come if you aren't going to Moab, that's just the purpose of this day.

 

For me, this coming weekend is the only one I'll have off before this meet weekend.

 

Good point, kind of need to pick a date that works best for the people signed up to go to Moab first and anyone else that wants to come of course is more than welcome.

 

I'll join if I can get that day off. Any ideas on where at yet?
