    I know this is an old thread, but was wondering if I could get some details on gauge size, series, mounting pod? I really like the looks of what the O.P. did, and would like some place to start with SpeedHut.

    Thanks All!

    I purchased the 2-1/16" gauge options. I think the gauge series was Revolution. And as posted a little earlier i used the craven speed pods.

    No problem, glad to see that this thread still gets some attention. I remember doing a lot of research when i first did this and now it makes it a lot easier for others.

    @WOODEX M.E.

    Hey bud, we've discussed your gauges before at length, but after various life events including buying a house, I am finally getting around to buying boost and AFR gauges.

    My question is how are these SpeedHut gauges holding up? Any issues? Happy with the FlexPod? Anything you'd do different second time around?

    They are holding up well. I have not had a single problem with them since installing them. One thing I would have changed is the FlexPod (make a modification to it). It doesn't have anything to actually hold the gauges in, so I just wrapped black electrical tape around the gauge housing and pressed them into the pods. If you do it right they wont move. I do wish that the AFR gauge had a built in control module like some other gauges, that way you wouldn't have to have a separate module and have to figure out how that all works. I had to use the PLX module and locate it in that funny little bin to the right of my steering wheel.

    Now that the work is all done I enjoy them a lot, I just wish someone had done it before me so I didn't spend so much time trying to learn what I needed.

    Thank you very much for your feedback, Woodex.

    Just so that I understand you correctly: should I choose the PLX AFR control module, I cannot daisy chain it along with another gauge (e.g. Boost). I would have to buy a separate control module for whatever other gauge I installed.

    Well the boost gauge doesnt need to be hooked up to anything to function other than its transducer and power cables. So it itself is already set. You can pull power from the same place with any other gauges, but the problem is that with the Speedhut gauges you need the signal from the sensor to be altered for the gauge to read, hence why i have te PLX unit to condition the signal and then send to the gauge. I dont know of any other way to do this, but im sure there are some. Some other branded gauges have that conditioner built in so you power the gauge and it just plugs the sensor into it.

    As far as i know. Theyre are many options, i just know that this one works wothout any headaches.

    @WOODEX M.E.

    I finally got my gauges in after a month and a half of waiting!

    I also finally fully understand what you're referring to in the quoted message above. I'm looking at the mess of everything and scratching my head.

    I have the SpeedHut boost and AFR gauges and their PLX counterparts. The AFR is fairly straightforward, but the boost is unexpectedly confounding me.

    The boost gauge itself, i dont think i had to buy anything else for, im pretty sure it came with everything needed to operate. You hook it up to power like any gauge but then you run it to the supplied pressure transducer. No need for the plx unit on the boost gauge, unlss you want to daisy chain them and data log.

    Want to take a picture of all the stuff you have?

    Hey man, I figured it out last night. I didn't use the PLX module as it meant disassembling the Molex connector of the boost gauge wiring harness because the connections on the PLX module and harness were incompatible, among other things. So I ended up routing the vacuum hose through the passenger-side plug on the firewall to the left of that large harness, like you did. From inside the cab, I ran the hose to the pressure sensor, zip tied that critter secure, and ran the harness to the driver's side near the steering column. I still need to install the AFR gauge today. After actually doing this and not just reading about it, I have more confidence with what I'm doing, and a lot of what you've told me now makes sense. Thank you very much for all your help! :)

    If you want, read more about my "adventure" here.

    Hey what size of guage/gauge pod did you go with? I have 60mm guage pos from Craven Speed and was hopping I can run these gauges!

    I ordered the 2-1/16" gauges. They don't fit tight in the craven speed pods so i wrapped electrical tape around the gauges as a sleeve untill the correct thickness. It holds thim in the pods with no movement like that. I believe i have heard of others doing the same ting.

    Just a hint, i was on their site yesterday and saw their new wideband is all one unit, no ned to buy an additional control module like i did years ago. Way easier to do ot all now. I racked my h ad for a long time over how to make it all work. I think @Biscuits even had to get a module about a year ago.

    All I see are 35psi +
