Hello, there is a good amount of rigid flush mounts on TW and I would like some first hand ownership insight. I'm concern about the correct area to mount them. The back bumper is where I want them to be mounted. I'm curious does it effect the reverse camera usage and will it cause hot spots? If so should I mount them closer to the corners or mounting them evenly in the middle is fine? Thanks for the help.

BTW planning to Dremel the chrome bumper for the flush mount then take the bumper off for powder coating.

If you have the factory hitch, you are pretty much only have one option as for position.

If you have the lights, why not run the wiring and connect the lights and see how placement effects the camera first hand before drilling holes? Seems like that would be the best solution to me

This is the location you are stuck with for the factory hitch.

Thought about doing this but didn't know if it's easily to disconnect. Just wanted to drill the holes then send it in for powder coat. Afterwards reconnect everything and make it some what theft proof. Thanks for all the replies. Still don't know how it effect the camera view.
