    Stock....

    Hello all,

I figured it was time to make an official account on TW after spending weeks debating what to do with my truck.

I have been driving Tacomas since 2006 when I bought my very first truck. It was nothing to write home about, but the little 1991 4 banger Toyota Truck was a hell of a vehicle. I ended up puchaing my first Tacoma in 2009. It was a simple Gen 1 access cab TRD Off-Road 4x4, but I can say that truck literally saved my life. I unfortunately lost my Gen 1 to a drunk driver in 2014.

Needless to say these vehicles have been great to me and I have always relied on them to get the job done. In 2015 I decided to replace my Gen 1 with a 2015 Gen 2 in Mag Grey. Interestingly I finally pulled the trigger on an access cab once again, however this time I only did so based on the inclusion of the entune technology package, TRD Off-Road package, and Manual 6 speed gearbox. Since its purchase a year and a half ago I have put ~15,000 miles on it and have been impressed yet again by the reliability and capability of the truck even in stock format.

I don't consider myself a true off-roader, but I enjoy the outdoors as frequently as possible. Many of my other hobbies require that I "off-road" but I would consider myself nothing more than an amateur outdoors man.

I look forward to the input from the wide member base here.

    Sincerely,
    Z

    Thanks guys!

I will be posting up a build thread here in the next few days asking for advice and seeing what general thoughts are on certain set-ups.

    Stock....
Question for everyone who has seen this so far. Is it generally acceptable to do a build/questions thread. My current truck is obviously stock, however I have a long list of things I want to do and questions that go along with those things.

Would the best line of attacked be a combined thread or single threads?

Also I have been pounding the search here but there are still bits and pieces I can't find direct answers for.

it is good to have a build thread but for specific questions you'd get better advice from a specific category rather than from a build thread
