I did a search here and the Internet without finding the answer to my question so, hoping someone here can help. How do I remove the trim panel above the glove box. Or, direct me to a source.

Wow, no one has ever removed that trim panel. Who'd a thunk.

Maybe a pic of what you're trying to remove would be more helpful and get more responses. If you're talking about the silver trim around the radio and ac vents then see my original post

The red panel above the glove box. I bought a black panel to replace the red panel.

And what does the back of the black panel look like? Just a bunch of pull-to-remove connectors like many dash pieces? Or slots for screws?

Once I replace the panel I will post how it is done. I won't receive the new panel until next Thursday.

Edit: As Splitbolt stated, 8 clips, 1 screw. Remove the radio trim panel then, you must remove the two panels to the right of the glovebox ( they just pop off ) to get one of the clips loose. Very easy job.

I think your right. There is one screw that I know of on the upper left side of the panel and I'm pretty sure the rest are clips. I will know for sure when I receive the panel next week.

So was it 8 clips and one screw? Buddy of mine is going to rewrap it in leather for cheap if I remove it
