Hi guys i have a rubbing like sound under my feet or maybe a bit towards middle. I really notice when i take off quick and turning, ot sounds alot like my tire is rubbing. But i know its not tire rubbing. Its been really bugging me that i cant pin point what it is. If it was in the tire area i would think it maybe a bearing but not sure. If anyone has any thoughts, Thanks Guys!!!!

    2 wheel drive or 4x4 ?
What year is your truck ? what size engine ? mileage ?
    Are your tires oversize ?
Do you have a lift kit ?
Does it make the rubbing noise in reverse ?
When was the last time you greased your universal joints ?
Exhaust heat shield falling off ? sometimes by simply having a peek under the truck really helps .
Does it make the rubbing noise when the truck is hot or cold ?

In your profile on the left side of the page , update it to include all the information about the truck you own .

Ya its a 2005 4×4, my tires are original size. Just put new u-joints all way around. No lift kit, doesnt make noise in reverse. And as u said about the exhaust shield im not 100% sure that it is not that. About a week ago there was vibration noise caused by bolts gone from clamp, but fixed that. But i will check more closely to see if any other gaurds loose. I know i really notice it when im turning right and give alot of gas then i feel the rubbing, vibration sound. If there was alot of weight shifted on tire, im sure it would be tire rubbing but its not. THANKS Gearcruncher!!

is it kind of high pitched? probably your carrier bearing, it happened to me so i replaced it. not sure if turning would affect it though...
