I seem to like every movie Jake Gyllenhaal has a role in and the movie "Source Code" was smart, while being an intense hold onto your seat roller coaster ride. If you haven't seen "Nightcrawler", that is a must for any J. G. fan and that movie is just as intense, if not more than Source Code. If you enjoyed the acting of Naz in the movie "The Night Of", then you will see him team up with J.G. in Nightcrawler.

Nightcrawler got my heart rate up, so too did End of Watch. Both good movies.

The movie "End of Watch" was so realistic that it wasn't even like acting and more like seeing what police really do everyday. I think every movie I've seen J.G. in has been intensely great.

    Just watched 'Hardcore Henry'

Felt like I was watching someone else play a video game, or I was playing a video game without using a controller. Awesome action/violence but the plot was uber stupid. At least after the end it kind of made it make sense but the whole time I was watching I just kept thinking how dumb of a story it was but the action/violence/(and boobs obv) kept me engaged. But, this movie isn't for the story it's for the glorious violence and action. If you like that, you'd like this...

Jimmy was the best part, played by Sharlto Copley. I've liked just about everything I have seen him in. He was in District 9 and Elysium off the top of my head movies I liked of his...

Just googled who actually played 'Henry' since it is 1st person and it makes it seem as if you are him. The character was played by 10 people at different times, at some points it is even the director of the movie. Pretty cool...

Yeah I like that movie a lot. Good movie for the FPS fan. Sharlto Copley was Murdock in A-Team. He's great and has cool characters in the movie.

When I first started watching 'Hardcore Henry' I didn't think it would work in a movie and seemed more like a video game. After half way through the movie, it started to make more sense, but at times seemed to be way over the top in action/violence and wondered where they were taking us. In the end, I've never watched a 'first person action movie', which broke new ground and I did enjoy the way it ended.

What would be your greatest TV show?

Mine would be the Sopranos and though the way they ended the series in the last episode was perfect.

I'm curious where you would rate 'The Simpsons', as compared to 'King of The Hill' on your all time greatest TV shows?

I don't know if many people here remember the TV show 'All in The Family'. I remember watching it growing up and Archie Bunker being outspoken, narrow-minded white man, prejudiced against everyone who is not like him or his idea of how people should be. Carroll O'Connor was simply brilliant in his role as Archie Bunker and seeing him in other shows/movies was weird, because he was Archie, not an actor portraying a character at least when you are young......hahahaha

Simpsons has been on too long. The first 10-15 years were good.

Remember the classic episode with Lucy trying to keep up with the donut machine? I just remember her with a mouth full of donuts and still trying to stuff more in, as donuts are overflowing everywhere.

I saw this short filmed called "Tom Clancy's The Division Agent Origins", which is based on the video game by Ubisoft and reminded me of "Hardcore Henry", as they both seem based around a video game. I would like to see "Tom Clancy's The Division Agent Origins" as a full movie or TV series, instead of a little over 30 minutes this film shows.

This short filmed "Tom Clancy's The Division Agent Origins" is about: A devastating pandemic sweeps through New York City on Black Friday, and one by one, basic services fail. Within weeks, society collapses into chaos, and the government activates The Division, a classified unit of self-supporting agents. Leading seemingly ordinary lives among us, Division agents are trained to operate independently of command when all else fails. Four newly activated agents must serve as civilization's last line of defense after a man-made virus devastates New York City.

It's my Moms favorite show so of coarse I've seen them all repeatedly, but it's one of those shows I never get tired of and can watch whenever it's on. That episode in particular is great. I also enjoy the first few seasons of CSI. After Grissom left I didn't care for it. Until that happened I watched it religiously.

    Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping

Funny movie. I've never seen any of the tour-movies that all the pop stars are making these days but this spoof was hilarious. It reminded me of the VH1 Inside the Music specials that I used to watch in the 90s/00s.

The TMZ bits were spot on

Watched Whiplash the other night. That was pretty good. I liked seeing J.K. Simmons as a dick and not just a funny likable guy.

He does dick very well. I probably could have worded that better but oh well. The only other time I've seen him portraying a dick was on a guest appearance on the show Party Down. If you're not familiar with Party Down, it was a show on STARZ about 5 years ago starring Adam Scott and Ken Marino. I enjoyed the show.

I gave this some thought since you posed the question and did not want to just say the first good show I thought of, which would probably be a more recent show.
I will have to say MASH is my all time favorite. It went thru a 40% cast replacement and didn't miss a beat!
