Careful on length there. I checked out @XPOTRPR Mt Bachelor I think (48x48 closed). The Ayer is 48x42 if I remember correctly. I wouldn't want to loose that foot of length given the slopes on the ends.

Tepui and CVT are pretty comparable priced. CVT just usually has the Annex included vs extra.

definitely. you are already losing some of that length with the slopes of the tent. My head touches the tent and I have about a foot+ left at my feet. I'm 5"11.

CVT all day IMO. customer service is fantastic. the ONLY complaint I have with my CVT.. is the damn condensation mat. Tepui definitely has the better mat (its more rigid and thicker). I will get one eventually. other that that. I love my CVT.

interesting. I honestly havent followed any of the RTT manufactures or whats out there now since we picked up our Bachelor.. its just... WORKS. :) we have had 0 issues and use it quite often. I have no need or desire to even check out the market anymore. lol Im kinda bad at that tho. once I get what I've been wanting/I need.. im good. then miss out on all the other cool shit. lol

    That's a solid recommendation!

Just saying, check out both if/when you change the mat.

Yup the pics are like 1 page back.
So worth it for the price lol...
It's cheaper than the smaller tuff stuff tent which is why I am leaning to go big or go home lol

Finally got around to looking at the thread.

    Theyre M8x1.25.

I am going to order a pack of these off McMaster and try them out.

I tried those, but unfortunately I didn't have enough thread space on the stock hardware to use them properly. I gave them to my buddy with a different mounting solution and he loves them.

These things are sooooo awesome! I just wish they didn't cost so much! I could get a decent used travel trailer for the price of a medium one :(
Would love to have one but I just can't justify it (at least not now). They are sick though!

I agree I want one but hard to drop the $ for one when Tepui makes a great soft one for half the price.
