I finally purchased my 2009 TRD Sport Dbl Cab a couple of months back after 4 years of driving a non-Tacoma truck. I bought a new 2010 TRD Sport LB, but couldn't swing the payments with other priorities, so I traded for a 2002 Silverado. The pull towards the Taco finally overcame and I made the switch back!

I have searched and found some great information on the site over the last two months on OEM Roof Rack and a couple other issues (1249 code and bad front wheel bearing). I installed the OEM rack, oil/filter change, cabin/engine air filter already, and I have all the standard maintenance to do over the next few months (differentials, tranny, coolant, brakes, etc) plus front wheel hubs. I am hoping that will keep the itch for mods at bay (for now)

Looking forward to contributing in whatever way I can,

    Mike

Been a little preoccupied with projects around the house and garage. Have done a few bits in the past month:
    -new OEM roof rack
    -tailgate lock with clamp
    -engine ticking quick fix-didn't work
    -engine oil/filter
-cabin air filter- tons of acorns from a mouse!
    - have all supplies to change diffs, tranny, transfer case to amsoil...just need a free Saturday.

Loading up some 6ft x 1.5ft pine logs in the bed

Just picked up a new toy for the shop! Grizzly G1073 bandsaw that was barely used off craigslist :)

Have also hauled several full loads of firewood, and thinking the airbag support or upgraded springs/shocks may be in the future...the sag is pretty severe with moderate loading.

Also picked up a sweet assortment of tools that were my wife's great-grandfather's (was a machinist from 1940s to mid 90s). The one I'm most excited about is this Jack!
Need to clean up a little and figure out the date range. Still functions better than my Harbor Freight special after sitting in a basement for 20 years

Here are some of the handtools!
