Scott, Billy is very accomodating. He could easily make your bumper with the tube that extends out a few inches on the outside of the bumper no problem. Give him a call!

X2, I asked Billy if he could design the hoops on mine so they could be removable. He was actually excited by the opportunity to get creative and figure out how to do it. Not to mention they came out awesome!

That actually crossed my mind, Nick. :) Of course, that would change the leverage and reinforcement needs on the back side, and make the license plate flipperdoodle a bit trickier, but that is a minor concern.

No spare, I have the swingout with spare mount on my bumper. I'm sure Billy could come up with a solution that works for you.

Just saw your post in the norcal thread. I know @STiLL WILL has the standard bumper but he's down in SLO. Send me a message with what exactly you need and I'll shoot him a text

Thanks man. Does he have a spare in the stock location? I'd like to see a pic of access in that scenario.

WRT the Nrocal post, I just figured if anyone was within reasonable distance of my usual wanderings, I could do an actual R&R of the receiver pin and ball mount just to see if it is tolerable or not...

I know theres a few guys up in the Sac area that have billy's bumpers though the ones I can think of have HC.

Even if you had a spare, there should be enough room to get your arms up and around the hitch receiver tube and lock the pin in. You'll probably need to lay on your back to see it the first few times but eventually you can just reach under and pin it.

I imagine the HC and Standard share a common main bumper structure, and only the outer ends are different. Would be my guess.

I have an ATO rear, but my hitch is mounted to the bottom the bumper and is rated. Maybe he could fab up something similar and you won't have to mess with any of this stuff.

    Edit: that's a 33 under there too

    Thanks, Scott.

I really want that receiver to be out of the departure angle. I'll never have a gate on this LB daily driver, and it will never have 33s or the like unless I get something else as a DD.

NP, I appreciate it! I've been looking at a bunch of rear bumpers, and the design features and price point of the Brute Force stand out for my needs. Plus I am hearing a ton of good stuff about Billy. :)

Billy @Bruteforce Fab - you should showcase some of your 5th gen 4Runner armor, I am trying to convince my wife to deck it out and I loved the pics on Facebook
