New to the Tacoma world

    Hello everyone,
    I just bought first truck. It is almost new 2014 stock short cab 2 wheel drive Tacoma to assist me with my house renovation projects. My Golf tdi, although it thought it was a truck, and I treated it accordingly, struggled with a 4'x8' sheet of drywall. :) I found this one owner vehicle with only 6K mikes on her c/w with a 5 spd manual, which was my preference. Although I'm from the north, I live in MD where when it snows, we close the state until the roads are clear, so rear wheel drive will be fine for me. My son on the other hand, lives in British Columbia, Canada and he has just ordered the top of the line 2017 4x4 with off roading capabilities, so we are at complete opposite ends of the vehicle requirement spectrum.
    Looking forward to learning lots about my vehicle in this forum.
