I'm running Icons all around with Dakars in the back which put it just how I wanted...until I went and put all my trail armor on. Running the Pelfrybilt HC with swing out and everything so it's gotten pretty heavy back there and I'm looking to get a little more lift back. My immediate thought was to just do an add a leaf to them but the incessant squeaking from them combined with the effort to actually add the extra leaf makes me open to just getting a different leaf pack. Long story short I'm just wondering if anyone has experience swapping Dakars to another leaf pack and if it gave you a little extra lift. Maybe just to add another inch or two. Thanks for the help as usual!

There really aren't a lot of options out there. Pretty much Dakar with AAL, All Pro Expedition, or I've heard people ordering custom deavers.

Of the three I'd personally just add the AAL, but if you have the money all Pro expeditions are supposed to be stiffer and provide more lift than the dakars without AAL.

They don't replace the leafs at all, or anything else.

They work fine for off-roading with Daystar cradles.

Thanks for the info. It seemed like something that would completely change the suspension in ways that could make things go bad. So those bags just inflate up and you can set the rear independent of the leafs? Sorry I'm totally dumb on bags. Also you just set them to a pressure how exactly?

All they do is restore your height when carrying a load.

They have a Schraeder valve like a bike tire. Inflate it to your needs for each load or run at minimum PSI when not needed.

Awesome. Can I keep it filled up full time to restore the height pre armor?

    Yup. Totally adjustable.

Just make sure they're long enough when inflated for your particular setup.

Why are shackle flips no good? I did one along with dakars and I've got all kinds of rake even with my swing out plate bumper holding a 35 and rtt on the back.

Good to know if you use a shackle flip no more warranty on the leaf pack and the bit about bending or cracking the C-channel is concerning.
    Thanks for the info
