07 Tacoma Base 2 door Trade In Value

would it be out of the realm of possibility to be able to get $4,000 from the dealer for my truck?

Here are the specifics on my truck. It's an 07 reg cab Tacoma. It has the readylift kit on it, the glaring problem is the rust that formed on the roof, the hood also seems to be about to form some as well. I've read online for a rough trade in that I can expect $3500-$5000. I was wondering what you guys think

 

If rough trade in is up to 5,000, you could definitely get them to give you 4k for it. Depending on what your buying, especially new, you may get more than that. Wheel and deal with them.

 

Mileage? AT or MT? 4x4 or 4x2?

Depends on if you are trading it in or outright sale. They can move numbers around i.e. give more for a trade vs. come off their asking price for their vehicle.

 

It's about to cross 90,000 miles, and has an automatic trans in it. I'll snap some pics when the sun comes up as well

 

Only thing that may hurt you is that it is 2wd.

Bad clear coat problem is what I see. I had that issue on my 2001

 

Yeah, that's what worries me on the trade in value

 

Looks like nada says about $3900 as well
