    How long you the LED's typically last? I've had mine about a year and on one the little plastic covers came off inside my headlight and burned out. The other is out too

    Typically last a lot longer than a year but can vary. The cover keeps heat buildup from getting to the led connection itself. If the cover came off and then with the cover coming off and heat getting to the led it can cause it to burn out. So yes they are rated for a lot longer but other factors can play a role as well.

    The cover that's over the LED itself? That's the piece that came out and floating around my headlight. The other one is fine but it just went out :(

    Hasn't really been too common, but does kind of depend on how long and how much you run them and the amount of heat. But I'm showing you got these in feb 2014.

    Oh damn guess it's been longer. Doesn't help I didn't drive it for 9 months while overseas so technically it's around a year of use
