Alright guy's so after taking all this info into account and reading literally hundreds of other threads, going over the ome site and talking to arb usa I still can't quite decide what to get.

I want as much lift as possible without having to get new uca's while keeping as much wheel travel as possible. And keeping in mind that I will be driving back and forth between Kentucky and Colorado/Utah.

I have 885's and dakars in my shopping cart. Just need to be sure that I won't end up needing uca's.

Any lifts out there that actually lift the amount they are listed for?

Anyone with a 2010 access cab offroad that has done it?

    Please and thank you!

With you being an access cab, I recommend 884s. I have 885s with a double cab and I'm right at that brink of needing UCAs. I'm afraid if you had 885s it'd push you over the top into UCA territory. The 884 and 885 are the same spring rate, but the 884 is just a little bit shorter.

That's good news! I have not seen that mentioned anywhere. Thanks for that.

You think I should go with icon progressives instead of dakars cause I hear the dakars can give up to 3". That may be too much rake.?

    It all depends!
    • Do you every carry heavy loads in the bed?
    • Are you current springs worn out?
I ask because each has it's pro's and con's. Dakars are great quality, but can be a bit stiff and squeak like hell. However there are remedies for that on here and you can also remove certain leafs to lower the height. I'd recommend this if you carry heavy loads/haul/current springs could use replacing.

With a progressive AAL, it's recommended to remove your stock overload leaf reducing your payload by 10% (read that somewhere else from a representative of Icon). I hear they ride smoother though.

I have a single 2" AAL. Paired with my new stock springs, it's going great. The ride isn't any rougher than stock and it increased my payload by a little bit.

2011 double cab, 4x4, have the recall leafs in the back (i believe its 4 leaf, could be wrong, working from memory and i'm exhausted) .. 5100s all around.

what setting should the 5100s be on for the front to be level? i see 1.75 and .85 thrown around a lot but i cant find an exact answer for it.
(there is nothing but the Recall leafs and 5100s on the rear, no block, no shackle flip, no lift adders, just "stock-ish")

It's because there is no exact answer! It varies per vehicle. Your best bet is to measure from the hub to fender all around, and the difference is your rake. There's your answer.

Ahaha glad I can help. Do you at least understand where to measure from? Hub to fender is the most accurate way to know a difference.

How much lift did you see with 884 on the 2.7access looking to do the same and can’t figure out those or the 885s. Also trying to fit 285 70 17s haha
