yeah, last night was "better" i guess, not as much if any violence, more peacefull shit. They made a curfew and didnt even enforce it, stoopid mayor we have

 

I was wondering about that, saw they imposed that last night. Then got up and checked the news, and the progress report said at 0030, there were still hundreds in the streets. What is the point of a curfew issued by the government if it is not going to be enforced by the arm of the government??

 

I cant wait. I will be downtown working, hope she stops by

 

I thought she decided to postpone to next Sunday after mayor asked her to, d/t limited resources. If I'm wrong then I'm glad I'm working Monday night instead of Sunday night this week.

 

Next weekend to coddle the crowd......

Hey everyone- new on here, live in Charlotte. Just got my first Tacoma a couple of months ago. Grew up in Arizona where there were plenty of nearby spots to go wheelin'... can anyone recommend some places close to Charlotte? I live on the Southwest side of town. Thanks!

 

Howdy from concord. URE (uwharrie national forest) about an hour east. Some easy moderate trails, some a hard and need armor. Thats about it unless you want to go a couple hours west, upstate sc, asheville, boone etc.

 

Thanks for the response! I've always wanted to check out Uwharrie, but haven't ventured out there as of yet. I grew up in Flagstaff, AZ, and you could drive a few minutes outside of town in just about any direction and find some light off roading. Guess I'll have to get used to being a city slicker.. ha.

 

Next time we go ill holler. You can ride with me to get lay of the land. They close after thanksgiving till spring though.
