Wiper Blades

was thinking of getting spare blades, costco has goodyear blades for $5. on sale. was looking at mine on the truck to measure and do not think they will work. the ones on there look like specific toyota blades? also i would have no idea how to get them off?

 

Yes they will work should be instructions on box . I think its a 22 and a 21 inch blade. I dont know how goodyear #qs them. Wait do you have a second gen. If so someone else will have to answer.

 

A word of advice... "you get what you pay for"....
The Toyota blades are FAR superior to any after market stuff.... Don't waste your $ on after market crap..

EDIT... I just noticed that you have an 08 Taco... are those OEM blades..? 8 yrs is damn good..!!

 

22",driver side,21" passenger side.OEM in the summer,Bosch Icon in the winter.

Bosch web site has listed for the 2016 Tacoma, the Icon's...
22A which is the driver side.
20B which is the passenger side.

 

The Goodyear blades are good, especially for the price.

 

I stand corrected, this is why my passenger side looks to long,should be a 20".

 

If you read any of the couple hundred threads on wiper blades you'll see the general consensus is the Icons are grossly over priced and mediocre at best.

 

I like my Icons,good winter blade,don't ice up as bad as OEM

 

To each his own. I will gladly pay the price. Hell of allot better than the cheap blades Toyota puts on these trucks new.

 

Auto Zone or O'Reilly's will put them on for you at no charge.

 

So that's about 1/2 cent? I feel your pain!
