My broke build thread....

well I got away from diesels.... had a 03 Duramax built and then a 08 with just exhaust and tunes.... got tired of all the diesel hype and didn't really need it anyways... so now I've got a 06 access cab 2.7 5 speed sr5 pw pl pm and I absolutely love it!!! So far I've leveled it undercoated the bottom side and just ordered my 255/80/17 stt maxx tires!! My next big mission is to do a decent suspension with new spring front and rear and shocks!!! Then a 3rd gen front end conversion bc that's what I wanted to start with!!

Thanks man I really wanted to buy new.... but out of 3 local dealerships I called none had what I wanted and none were willing to get it without me coming to sign papers first.... and I don't buy what I can't drive first sorry

 

So now I've got it in my mind that I really want a tepui tent!!! Where is the best place to buy? I'm a rei member and buy stuff there regularly!!!

 

REI's membership is awesome if you ever have a problem with it, so that might be a good route.

 

I think I'm going to wait another year or so or until I find a deal!! I just had a son 2 mo the ago and would like for me and him to start going on weekend camping trips once he's off the tit!!
