Jake, it's Randy, the one that was experiencing the brake issues in Lucerne Valley, anyways, it was AWSOME meeting you guys and it was great wheel'n with all of you CaliRaisedLED guys also. Sorry if I slowed you guys down!!! Obviously not my intentions to do so :facepalm::bowdown: Thank you for the "Fatboy XXL T-shirt":thumbsup::D:fistbump::cheers:

Madison, as always, it was nice seeing you and Mike again. My brother and I had a great time wheel'n with you guys. He is moving out of state soon so I had a chance to hang out with him and have fun together... until Lucerne, but all good as things could have been worse!!! Since my brake fade, my brakes came back, but still doesn't feel 100% like it used to???!!! o_O:confused: Gonna have my brakes flushed and overall inspection. Anyways, glad you all made it back to SD and God bless to all.:fistbump::cheers:

Yeah, I use the truck every now and then as my DD, but not right now. I will get that brake fluid checked ASAP and flushed (anyways) for sure!!!:annoyed::bananadead: Next Friday is my only option at the moment to be able to do that. All good though, I LOVE driving the little Civic around as well. Going from the truck to the Civic though, it feels like I'm sitting on top of a skateboard pushing myself around, LOL!!!:rofl::rofl:

@goblue82 Greg, @4x4Banger Charlie and Spencer, it was an honor to wheel with you guys and thank you for helping diagnosing my brake issue. Greg I texted you as soon as I got home??? Anyways, my brakes never came back 100%, but they felt safe enough as I was driving back home. My brother was VERY IMPRESSED by all and how much concern of safety was involved!!! One of his last comments to me was when Charlie (the caboose) stopped to finally ask if, "I felt safe enough to be left behind" as the group was leaving just in case!!!:fistbump::cheers: THAT was VERY heart warming to know that I was with good company!!!:fistbump::cheers: I hope I can wheel with you guys again, but I tend to be a bit on the slower side compared to the rest of you and feel bad for that!!! Anyways, my brother and I had a great time and he is moving out of state soon, so I was very happy to be able to hang out with him as well!!! Until next time bros, take care, safe travels, and God bless to ALL!!! :mudding:

I saw you guys coming back up the Hill, I had to bounce too. Jacoby Canyon was packed with Jeeps trying to come down as we were going up, so I don't think you missed much. Nice wheeling with you all!

We came down a LONNNNNG steep sandy grade down into Lucerne Valley and RIGHT AT the bottom of that hill, along the railroad tracks, I started feeling my brake pedal "fading away", like there was NO brake pressure and\or VERY little of???!!! o_O:confused::confused::confused: I eventually just pulled over as the group ahead of me kept going and the group behind me just stopped apparently wondering what was going on? I had @icetreye Kevin hop in my truck to show him what I was experiencing and it felt odd to him as well? Anyways, we went the rest of the way to this power line tower and that is where Greg and Spencer helped trying to diagnose what was possibly wrong? Spencer went to grab the brake fluid reservoir and immediately pulled his hand away!!! We cooled it down a bit with a battery blower that he had and I left the hood open for a bit as well. We left that tower on the way to Jacoby Canyon (that was my understanding of our next destination) and my brakes came back, but didn't feel 100% like "normal"???!!! That is when I called out to Greg to have him get me to the nearest road so I can make my way back home!!! I was about 2mi from the 18fwy at that point  The rest of the group was heading off finally and @4x4Banger Charlie WAS the last rig at the end and he stopped next to me to ask if I was sure because he just wanted to make sure things were good!!! I was floored by that bro!!! Just AWESOME people!!! LOL, going down that hill I was doing my absolute best to try to keep up, but just could NOT do it and was riding the truck pretty hard in doing so!!! Not enough to physically beat the shi- out of it, but was speeding up and braking when the opportunity presented itself!!! Anyways, looking back, I am VERY LUCKY my brakes did NOT FAIL going down that hill!!! I wouldn't be here today if that happened!!! Learning experience for me is that if I feel I'm riding the truck a bit too hard, just ease back a little bit and wheel a little slower as it is what it is!!! But, I was basically towards the front and didn't want to slow down the rigs behind me!!! o_O:( I just felt BAD bro that I was going as fast as I could, but yet, slowing people down!!! :bananadead:
