It will absolutely fit your 2008! You just will need fenders, headlamps, grille, hood, etc. Or you can deal with a huge panel gap because of how different the 2012+ noses were. It's easier to retrofit the 2005-2011 bumper onto a 2012+ than the other way around.

BTW, I totally forgot the spraygun for you today! :( We will meet up again soon and I'll bring it.

Morning. Weekend was pretty good. You?

Question: anyone have a preference where to buy touch up paint pens from?

Freaking lady opened her door right into my front passenger door at big y the other day.

Definitely, took the little ones to Southwick Zoo on Saturday and they loved it.

I spent the rest of the day Saturday and most of Sunday working on the camper. I'm adding cabinet doors to access the storage under the seats rather than having to pull the seat to get at the storage. The manufacturer also closed off a lot of storage areas due to piss poor placement of the mechanicals. The master plan is to relocate some stuff and gain more storage but that was a bigger project than I had time for.

    Morning, faces.
Finished building the new woodshed Saturday and started filling it yesterday. Washed the truck off because Friday's rain covered it in road film. Checked the weather this morning, and rain's in the forecast for tomorrow again. :frusty:

Anybody watch the Jets/Chiefs game? 8 turnovers, and Shitzpatrick throwing for 6 INT's.

I think he completed more passes to Kansas City than he did to his own teammates. Jets coaching staff may want to have him tested for color-blindness.

Here's another photo from the Big E yesterday. We watched the Budweiser team get hitched up. Daughter had a great time as she has an interest in horse management - actually taking classes in high school for it.

It's the same brand as what they have at autozone.

I ended up ordering a pen from Touchup Direct. Read some reviews and people seem to say the colors match. We shall see though :notsure:. Only a small spot but it will drive me nuts

Dr. Colorchip, they are awesome for touchup.

Sure, the base coat paint matches perfectly, but put a blob of that in the middle of your clear-coated, finished paint and it will look like shit. Touch up pens are not a good option for touch up in my opinion, it's tough to make them look right. Products like Dr. Colorchip are better in my opinion because they are made to blend in with the finished paint so you can't spot the repair.

The touchup pens can work good if it's done correctly but most people usually don't. Like Mike said most people just glob it on

Decided to go with the Dr Colorchip. I probably would end up globbing the pen on and then be pissed at myself for it.

    Thanks for the recommendations!

I learned from an old timer body guy how to make chips disappear. Basically, Google Kevin Tetz chip repair. You'll need a color coat and a clear coat (2k - urethane preferred). Color coat is just to cover the base but not build up the chip. Let dry per the tech sheet for the paint. Next apply clear. I use a cardboard matchstick cut at an angle to dab the clear. It needs to be higher than the surrounding area when done. Let dry per tech sheet. Next use a single edge razor blade as shown in Kevin's video to scrape the high build area down. If your careful you may not need to wet sand with 1200. If a little rough, gently sand with 1200 or finer. Compound with Wizards compound, then buff, then wax. The chip will be gone... FWIW, there is 2L clear in a spray can and it has a 24 hr pot life.
