Anyone have a good person to install in Los Angeles area that's decently priced? Thanks for the help!

depends on how much damage/contact do you think it will get. If it won't get any at all, powdercoat it. If it will get some get it lineX or Rhino lined. It will get a bunch, do what I did and just use spray on bedliner. Reason being, scratched/broken/cracked powdercoat is impossible to fix (from what I heard,) LineX and Rhino are easier I bet and the DYI spray on take seconds to fix. Plus the cost... Just my thoughts on this, do what makes the most sense to you.

Wow very clean looking. What was your prep and which spray on bedliner did you use? I think thats probably the best way to go.

BTW on that last pic... Buddy and I are making a plate that will bolt to the 2 bolts and make the transition from the bumper tot he RCI skid plate much smoother. I would hate to run up on a tree branch that would pierce right through that little opening.

So for prep, I wiped the whole bumper down with brake cleaner, used some primer I had sitting around and then sprayed the whole thing 3 coats with Home Depot Rustoleum truck bed liner as that was cheap and available with minimal prep. I have used it before and it does scratch off or you hit anything on the trail (rocks) but then you just get home, wash the area and spray it. You will never know it was damaged.

There may be better DYI bedliners out there, I got this one because I like the texture, price, availability and reasonable good protection.

Sweet, thanks for the tips man. Also on the winch, which winch did you go with? And did you have that installed before you actually put the bumper on? Or would it be easy to still take off the bumper at a later time when I am ready to put on the winch? Thanks!

You're going to cost me money by posting pictures like that. :D

How do you access the winch's clutch lever?

So winch. That was a fun one.

Yeah, we installed the bumper and made sure it fit well first. Then took it off (it's easy) and installed the winch into it. Then put the bumper up again. It helps having another person helping you with the bumper especially when the winch is installed, at least until you put the first couple bolts in. You will need to take the grill off - couple snaps and screws - and that will give you great access. Depending on which winch you get, you will have to re-position the solenoid. I went with the Smittybuilt XRC 9.5 and had to drill a hole through the bumper brace (already had a few holes similar size in it and it didn't seem to change the structural strength) to plug in the remote. The clutch can't be seen in these photos but is accessible. Hope this helps

What are people going with typically in terms of light bars? None, rigid, or baja? I'm conflicted.

Ordered my bumper without the light bar cut out. Extra lighting is not a priority for me, like the clean look of the bumper without one, also like the savings that can be used for other mods. Just my two cents.

I already have a 42 inch light bar on the roof rack, LED headlights and hood lights. No need for additional lights in the bumper. Plus I am too cheap to spend the money on rigid or Baja lights and the cheap ones from Amazon have been serving me well for many years on my Jeeps.
